Sri Gowri Biotech
Research Academy(SGBRA)
is located in a cool and sprawling campus constructed in an area covering
12,000 sq.ft. at the hart of the city center of Thanjavur. SGBRA aims to
train the farmers and students of different levels towards becoming leaders
of the International Scientific Community. The primary aim of SGBRA is to
promote skill and excellence in scientific research.
SGBRA infrastructure
Establishment and maintenance of Bacterial, Fungal, Cyanobacterial and
Microalgal germplasm collections which will be available to all farmers,
researchers and students at nominal cost.
Screening, identification and characterization of antibacterial,
antifungal and antiviral compounds from different microbes and plants.
